As the event photographer for First National Real Estate’s National Awards Night on March 29, 2025, I had the opportunity to document a key night for one of Australia’s leading real estate networks. Held at the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne, the event brought together around 400 attendees from across the country to celebrate standout performances in sales, marketing, property management, and leadership.
From the perspective of a photographer, it was a well-run and visually polished event. The National Gallery provided a clean, elegant setting—ideal for capturing both posed shots and natural moments throughout the night. My focus was on photographing everything from the welcome drinks and guest arrivals, to the awards presentations and team celebrations.
These kinds of corporate events are important for companies like First National. They help build morale, recognise achievements, and strengthen connections across the network. Photographing the evening not only meant capturing those milestone moments on stage, but also the energy and pride that came from colleagues supporting each other.
For an event like this, strong photography is about more than just documenting—it’s about helping the business tell its story. The images taken on the night will be used in marketing, social media, internal communications, and recruitment, showcasing First National’s commitment to excellence and its professional culture. I’m glad to have contributed to preserving that message visually.
